Your responsibility

You are responsible for your own tipping decisions. What you choose to leave is your call, based on service, local norms, your budget, and the moment. Tipster Calculator does not tell you what you must pay, and you should not rely on it as the only factor in your decision.

As-is, no guarantees

Tipster Calculator is provided free of charge and on an as-is basis. While we work hard to keep calculations accurate and recommendations current, we cannot guarantee that every calculation is error-free or that every recommendation perfectly matches every venue in every city. Tax rules, service charges, or large-party gratuities can affect the final check. If you notice something off, let us know and we will fix it.

Limitation of liability

That includes over-tipping, under-tipping, disputes with a business, or any other outcome related to gratuity. The total liability for any claim related to use of Tipster Calculator will not exceed the amount you paid to use it, which is zero dollars.
